Our owner-operator partners are an important part of our business. Although they maintain their independence, they play a crucial role in day-to-day operations.
Requirements for Owner Operators CDL-A license
- At least 21 years of age with current CDL-A license.
- 6 months of verifiable interstate tractor/trailer experience within the past three years
- No drug- or alcohol-related offenses or careless or reckless driving citations within the past five years, and no handheld device violations or violations over 15mph.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
- Additional equipment age and condition requirements apply to owner-operator candidates.
Within the past 3 years:
- No more than 3 moving traffic convictions or 6 points on motor vehicle record.
- Fewer than 3 preventable accidents with no instances of preventable rollover, jackknife or rear-end collisions or preventable accidents resulting in an injury or fatality.
- Fewer than three incidents incurring damages of less than $500.00 each at a loading/unloading facility, drop yard, or terminal.
